Originally from Northern Ireland, now based in Kent, Tracey is a professional keyboard player, vocalist, arranger and composer who has studied at The Queen’s University of Belfast (BTh Hons); the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford (Drums) and the British Academy of New Music, London (CTTLS Music Educator). Having achieved a PGDipMus in 2017 from Leeds College of Music Tracey continued her study there and graduated with a Masters in Music (MMus) in Composition and Performance in July 2018.
Tracey is an experienced musician & vocalist and has worked nationally and internationally in various function & originals bands, as a pianist, singer pianist, backing vocalist and as a session musician. She has undertaken contracts for Disney Cruise Line, P&O Cruises and P&O Ferries, was the Resident Pianist for the New Wimbledon Theatre Piano Bar (ATG) and a regular visiting Pianist for the New Victoria Theatre Piano Bar (ATG). She has also worked as a keys player on productions of Chess (DAODS), Jesus Christ Superstar (Theatre Tech Services) and Les Miserables (School’s Edition) as well as performing as a vocalist in the West End Heroes Gala Performances 2014 & 2015 at the Dominion Theatre, London.
In December 2014 she was the arranger, musical supervisor and keys player for ‘Incarnation’ at St Sepulchre’s, London; a Christmas production with performers from the West End in aid of the charity, Tearfund. Her collaboration with Tearfund continued throughout 2015 with the ‘Speechless’ project in aid of Tearfund’s Children at Risk work, including the ‘No Child Taken’ campaign. The ‘Speechless’ national concert tour with West End performers was followed by the ‘Speechless’ album produced by Tre Sheppard, recorded at Zero:Hour Studios, N.Ireland/Livingston Studio 1, London and for which Tracey was arranger, music supervisor, musician and assistant project manager.
In December 2016 she was the Assistant Musical Director for ‘Motown Christmas’ with Mo Pleasure (Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Bette Midler, Ray Charles) as Musical Director. Tracey continued to work with The Haven+London in 2017 as Musical Director presenting The Haven+London Christmas Celebration in December at St Giles-in-the-Fields, London. Also in 2017 Tracey delivered two showcases of original compositions including ‘New Writing for Musical Theatre’ at The Venue, Leeds as well as performing original material at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London for ‘Where Love and Sorrow and Meet’. In early 2018 Tracey presented a new project called ‘A Lesson in Heartbreak…Recovery in Love’ in Leeds.
